OTARMA Board Member - Vice Chair
Springfield Township / Muskingum County
Mrs. Connie Fink has been involved in township government since 1987 when she was first elected as the Fiscal Officer for Springfield Township in Muskingum County. Since then she has been actively involved locally in the Muskingum County Township Association where she has served as Vice President, and currently serves as the Secretary/Treasurer and the Executive Committee Person. At the state level she was elected to the Ohio Township Association Board of Directors in 2008 where she currently holds the position of First Vice President.
She has attended many local government conferences during her time as an elected official and has never missed an OTA winter conference. She is a graduate of the OTA Leadership Academy and has also participated in the Auditor of State's Local Government Officials' Conferences and the National Association for Towns and Townships Conferences in Washington DC. Locally, she serves on the Muskingum County Planning Commission.
Mrs. Fink is a graduate of Ohio University where she earned Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Elementary Education. She spent her thirty year teaching career in the Maysville Local School District teaching first grade and serving as the elementary literacy coordinator.
The daughter of a dairy farmer, Mrs. Fink has lived her entire life in Springfield Township. After marrying her husband Doug, over 40 years ago, they have traveled the country visiting all 50 states. They have two sons and daughters-in-law and four grandchildren. In her free time she continues to travel and enjoys sewing, skiing, and spending time with her family.
